Line Chat Features
Let your visitors reach you when they want
Give your clients an opportunity to address you any time they need right from your web page. They will enjoy a quick and uncomplicated conversation through Line Chat, one of the most popular messengers all around the world. Just one click – and the chat window will pop up to initiate a conversation and contact you.
The simplest way to implement Line Chat
All you need to establish communication with clients right on your website is log into Line Messenger. Elfsight plugin will automatically organize connection with your account and a chat box will appear on your website. You are ready to look through customer messages and answer them.
Three variants of chat positioning on the page
Depending on what you need, your Chat window can look as an expandable bubble – movable or fixed on a certain position – or as an embedded chat. Floating bubble may be aligned at center, left, or right. It will follow when visitors scroll the page and stay visible. Integrated dialogue boxes can be inserted into the content area, for example on a product page to help visitors place an order.
Revealing the feature where it performs best
Chat may pop up on all pages of the site or only on where you choose. If you want the chat just on certain pages – it’s simple, simply pick Specific Pages variant and add the URLs of the selected pages. Meanwhile, the Excluded Pages option is here to restrict showing on the pages where you don’t want it. Showing chat on mobile is also optional, if it might spoil a smooth experience, you can conceal it.
Defining a chat-opening requirement
Line Chat may become an instrument to draw clients and increase the amount of communications. If you choose one of chat-activating triggers, the chat window will automatically pop up and invite a person to message you. As a trigger, one can set certain time spent on your site or on a certain page, going to a selected scroll position, or a visitor’s intention to leave your site.
Vary icon and text of dialogue bubble
Speech bubble is the element that site visitors see first and connect with dialogue. Choosing the right bubble thumbnail can help in showing the main purpose of your chat: customer service, order placing, apartment booking, and so on. We offer a library of icons for various occasions, so you can choose the most suitable. A bubble input field is available to demonstrate your custom message next to the icon.
Customizable chat header
There are lots of details of the chat header which can vary according to your purposes. The picture used can be your Facebook profile photo, or you can pick it from our library or choose your own. You can set the naming of the chat and choose a caption. The latter offers 5 variants of reply time, showing when site visitors can expect an answer, or a field for your caption text. It supports font and weight options, lists, links, and more.
A welcome message and chat start button
Greeting message is the first one your clients see when they open the chat box. It is there to help them start messaging, offers support, or meets any other visitors’ needs. In the welcome message field you are free to add text and use and weigh options, align variants, lists and links. Start dialogue button can also include your custom text and you may demonstrate or hide the messenger icon on it. Also, choose different button shapes – from square to rounded.
Add notifications to catch the eye
There’s an alternative way to attract users’ attention to your dialogue box. You are allowed to add a notification badge to the chat bubble, which will demonstrate an unread message and make people curious to open the chat. There’s also an option to add a notice to the title of the tab, it will appear when a start-chat trigger has worked.
Color the interface to your taste
You already know which colors you need to create the most color-matched chat box for your website. So don’t hesitate and paint elements of the interface on your own. You can choose the design for the bubble background and icon, the header background, and a button.
