Overview
Zapier is the quickest way to reach an app that has no integration of its own here. Each chat that ends starts your Zap with everything from it: the visitor's name, email and phone, the topic and an AI summary, the page they were on and the full transcript.
From there you pick the steps — add the lead to your CRM, post a message for your team, open a task for a question the agent couldn't answer — without writing code. Every finished chat is sent, whether or not the visitor left their details, so a filter step decides which ones matter.
What you can do
These are the jobs the integration is built for.
Add leads to your CRM
A visitor who leaves their details in the chat becomes a contact in the CRM your Zap points to, with the chat's topic and summary alongside.

Alert your team
Post a message to your team's channel or inbox when a chat ends, with the AI summary and a link to the chat in your dashboard.

Follow up on unanswered questions
Each chat brings the questions the agent couldn't answer. Turn them into tasks, so someone adds the answer and the agent knows it next time.

Set up
The connection starts in your AI Chatbot widget, which gives you a key, and finishes in Zapier. Chat data goes out when a conversation ends.
- Open your AI Chatbot widget, go to Integrations, choose Zapier and connect it.
- Copy the key it shows — you can come back to Integrations for it later.
- In Zapier, pick a template or create a Zap with the Elfsight AI Chatbot trigger, paste the key when you connect your account, then add the steps that follow.
Connected apps and their status are listed in Integrations in your widget, where you can disconnect access at any time.
Requirements
- An AI Chatbot widget published on your site.
- A Zapier account with the apps you want to connect.
What gets sent
What the integration passes on.
Name, email and phone, if the visitor left them
The visitor's consent, if you ask for it: the text and when it was given
Chat topic and an AI summary of the conversation
The page the chat started on
When the chat started and how long it lasted
The full transcript: who said what and when, with files the visitor attached
Questions the agent couldn't answer in this chat
Links to the chat and to unanswered questions in your dashboard
If nothing arrives
- Wait for the chat to end. A chat is sent when it ends: the visitor ends it, or nobody writes for a while (10 minutes by default). A chat that's still open hasn't been sent yet.
- One Zap per key. A key starts one Zap. For a second Zap, connect Zapier again in your widget and use the new key.
- Check that both sides are on. Turning the Zap off disconnects it until you turn it on again; the Zapier integration also has to be on in your widget's Integrations.
How businesses use it
The same connection, set up for different kinds of business.
- Local & small businessLeads go straight into the CRM or the inbox the owner already checks, with no copying from a chat log.
- Real estateViewing requests reach the agent's CRM with the visitor's phone and the listing page they were on.
- SaaS & softwareDemo requests go to sales, and unanswered product questions become tasks for the docs team.
- Online storesShipping and order questions the agent couldn't answer turn into tasks, so the next shopper gets the answer.
