How to Add an Instagram Feed to Facebook Page
Due to Facebook’s New Page Experience, widgets can no longer be embedded directly on Facebook Pages. Currently, the only available option is to add a button that links to your widget. When users click it, they are redirected to the widget on a separate page. We are actively working on a solution and will update this guide once a new method becomes available.
Getting your feed live takes just a few minutes.
- Pick a Template: Browse Elfsight’s layouts and choose the one you like.
- Customize Your Feed: Connect your Instagram account or hashtag, adjust the design, and set display options.
- Get the Share Link: In your Elfsight dashboard, open the widget installation settings, switch to the Share Link tab, and copy your widget link.
- Add It to Facebook: Open your Facebook Business Page, choose the Action Button option, select a suitable button type, and paste the copied Share Link.
- Save and Test: Save the button, open your Facebook Page, and check that it leads visitors to your Instagram Feed.

Due to Facebook’s New Pages Experience, direct widget embedding with HTML code is no longer available for Facebook Pages. You can still connect your Instagram Feed widget to a Facebook Business Page by adding its Share Link to a Facebook Action Button.
Is the widget compatible with every Facebook Page template?
The current method works with Facebook Business Pages that support Action Buttons. Since the widget opens through a Share Link rather than being embedded into the page layout, Facebook Page templates and custom design settings do not affect the widget placement.
Can I display posts from more than one Instagram account?
Yes! You can pull content from multiple accounts or hashtags and combine them into a single feed.
How often does the feed refresh?
New posts appear automatically every 24 hours – no manual updates required.
Can I hide or filter certain posts?
Definitely. Use hashtag filters or hide posts manually to keep your feed curated.
Will it slow down my Facebook Page?
