Video Gallery plugin for Google Sites

Create your Video Gallery plugin
Why People Love Elfsight
Google Sites makes it easy to bring information together in one accessible place, and Video Gallery helps you add a more visual layer to that experience. Use it to collect tutorials, presentations, project videos, product explainers, interviews, event recordings, customer stories, or social content without filling your pages with separate video embeds.
Everything is managed from the Elfsight editor. Add videos from several supported sources, pin the ones you want people to discover first, introduce filters and sorting for larger collections, and enable the mini-player for a smoother viewing flow. You can also configure what happens when playback finishes, whether that means continuing to another video or showing an end card with a relevant next step.
Google Sites provides a built-in Embed element for external content. Elfsight currently supports two installation options there: you can paste the generated installation code or embed the gallery through its Share Link. After insertion, the gallery container can be resized visually right inside the Google Sites editor.

Wyzowl’s 2026 research found that 96% of people have watched an explainer video to learn more about a product or service.

How to Add a Video to Google Sites
You can create your Video Gallery and insert it on a Google Sites page in a few steps:
- Choose a Template: Open the Elfsight editor and select a template that works for your content.
- Add Your Videos: Build your collection using links from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Vimeo, Twitch, or Custom Source.
- Customize the Widget: Choose the layout, adjust its appearance, pin important videos, configure filters and sorting, enable the mini-player if needed, and set the Video Behavior.
- Copy the Installation Code: Publish the gallery and copy the code from the Embed Code tab in your Elfsight installation window.
- Embed It in Google Sites: Open your website in Google Sites, go to Pages and select the required page. Switch to Insert, choose Embed, select Embed code, paste your Elfsight code, and click Next → Insert. You can then drag the borders of the embedded area to adjust its width and height.
You can also install Video Gallery using its Share Link. In Elfsight, open Install → Share Link and copy the link. Then in Google Sites choose Insert → Embed → By URL, paste the link, select Whole Page, and click Insert.
Google Sites doesn’t support adding a widget to every page at once. If you want to display Video Gallery on several pages, you’ll need to insert it on each page separately.
