This behavior is easy to fix, and we’re happy to tell you how to do it.
If InstaLink doesn’t display on your WordPress website, these are the reasons you need to check off in the first place:
- Make sure that the page area you have added InstaLink shortcode to supports WordPress shortcodes. This is where you can find more information on shortcodes https://elfsight.com/help/what-are-wordpress-shortcodes-and-how-do-i-use-them/;
- Private Instagram account – due to Instagram API restrictions, our plugins can’t work with private accounts , so if your widget doesn’t display, make sure that your source Instagram account is public;
- If you’re using an ajax-powered WordPress theme, here’s an article that might answer some of your questions – Instagram feed InstaShow doesn’t load on ajax-powered WordPress websites. Although it was originally written for Instagram Feed, the solution can easily be adjusted for Instagram Widget.
If none of this applies, open a ticket at our Support Center, and we’ll be happy to help you!
