One of the best things about the Elfsight Apps widgets is the simple and universal installation, in the sense that all the widgets are installed in one and the same way.
So this installation tutorial for WordPress is something you can use for any widget, from Instagram Feed to Social Media Icons.
After you configure and save your widget at Elfsight Apps and get the installation code, you need to login to your WordPress dashboard. Please, keep in mind that different WordPress themes might be edited in different ways, and the files to edit might be located differently from what we’re showing in this tutorial. If one of the files of your theme is located in some place other than demonstrated in this tutorial, it shouldn’t be an issue.
Depending on your use-case, an Elfsight Apps widget can be installed to the following elements of your WordPress website:
- Page template, to display the widget on each page
- Footer template, to display the widget on each page above the footer
- Footer template to display the widget in the footer.
We haven’t included installation to the header to this tutorial. It might require editing the header formatting to make it look good, so we recommend that you contact our developers for that. We’ll be happy to install the widget for you in the shortest possible time.
